Arafa Dua 2

Whatever takes root and shoots up is not concealed from His view, nor that, which is left alone and is at rest, is deemed lost in His estimation. . . . .
خ He pays back, as the case may be, in return of every "work". Whoso prays humbly and convincingly is accommodated; whoso goes near Him, in need, receives )His( loving response.
خ He is the ultimate destination, where, whoso reaches draws advantages from and profits by His hospitality. He is evident )clear to the understanding( through the light of the conclusive Book.
خ It is He who listens to and accepts prayers, drives away sorrows, takes up to higher regions, destroys the force of tyranny,
خ so there is no god other than He nothing )no one( can place one's self on a level with Him, and there is nothing comparable unto Him.
خ It is He who hears, sees, and is aware )of everything( in detail, and it is He who is able to do all things.
خ O Allah I willingly lean upon and long for Thee, I solemnly declare that Thou art God,
خ I humble myself by owning with gratitude that Thou art my Lord-Nourisher. Unto Thee I shall return. I came into being when Thou mercifully said "Yes". Prior to my becoming worthy of introduction )in this world(,  ,

Tafsir Qur\'an 6

Now gambling of all kind is forbidden in Islam, and as the division of meat in this way is a form of gambling, it too has been declared unlawful by the Holy Quran:

" And the animals that you divide their meat among yourselves by divining arrow are unlawful."

WHAT DAY WAS THE PERFECTION DAY OF ISLAM? Concerning the phrases of the above verse that says: - -" Today the unbelievers have abandoned to despair of vanquishing your religion."

" Today I have perfected your religion( Islam ), and have completed my favour on you; and have consented with Islam for your religion."

The question is: What day was the perfection day? The Day in which the unbelievers despaired, and Islam was perfected, and God's favour was completed on Muslims!? Without any doubt, the said Day must have been one of the most important Days in the history of Islam. Can it be the Day in which the

carrion, blood and pork meat was proclaimed unlawful and forbidden? Of course not! Because these commandments are not that important to make the unbelievers to lose hope and fall into despair.

No unbeliever is sensitive to the prohibition or lawfulness of eating pork or carrion. It cannot even be the Day in which Mecca was

conquered, because of surety the verse has been revealed more than a year after the conquest of Mecca.

The answer to the question is clear, and with hundreds of evidences and proofs: - -" All the Shiite commentators, writers, historians and scholars, without an exception have written in their books that the said verse revealed in the Day of GHADIR- GHADIR KHOMM- The Day which our prophet officially introduced and announced Hazrat Imam Ali( AS )as his Successor and vicegerent." Not only the Shiite scholars and writers have written and

reported that incident; but hundreds of the SONNI scholars and historians too, who have had not excessive enthusiasm and unreasoning zeal on their religious sect, have written the event of GHADIR KHOM in detail.

Although the prophet, every now and then, and here and there, from the beginning to the end of his mission had introduced Hazrat Ali as his deputy, vicegerent, and successor; now the case was different.

Commentary(Nimunih), Vol2, Page: 43

Mohammad S. A. was the only absolute ruler of the Arabian Peninsula,

and his successor was no less important than himself. When Hazrat

Ali officially and openly was introduced as the prophet's successor in GHADIR KHOMM; The Arab idolaters, the nominal Muslims, and the hypocrites, who had submitted for their personal interests, abandoned to despair! Because they were expecting the end of the religious revolution, by the end of its founder, Mohammad S. A.

Without any doubt, the said verse( NO. 3 )came down in the most

important Day or GHADIR

ISLAMIC LAWS 7

Islamic Laws 7

If the A'lam Mujtahid observes precaution after or before having given a fatwa, for example, if he says that if Najis vessel is washed once with Kurr water (about 388 litres), it becomes pak, although as precautionary measure, it should be washed three times, his followers can abandon acting according to this precaution. This precaution is called recommended precaution ( ihtiyatMustahab).

If a Mujtahid, who is followed by a person dies, his category will be the same as when he was alive. Based on this, if he is more learned than a living Mujtahid, the follower who has a general notion about the variation in the day to day Masae'l, must continue to remain in his taqlid. And if he living Mujtahid is more learnes, then the follower must turn to him for taqlid. The term 'taqlid' used here implies only an intention to follow a particular Mujtahid, and does not include having acted according to his fatwa.

Naj al-balaghah 10

Nahj al-balaghah 10

Often a person with eyes misses the track while a blind person finds the correct path. Delay an evil because you will be able to hasten it whenever you desire. The disregard of kinship of the ignorant is equal to the regard for kinship of the wise. Whoever take the word to be safe, it will betary him. Whoever regards the world as great, it will humiliate him. Every one who shoots does not hit. When authority changes the time changes too. Consult the friend before adopting a course and the neighbour befre taking a house. Beware , lest you mention in your speech what may rouse laughter even though you may be relting it from others . ISLAMIC LAWS 6

Islamic Laws 6

If an A'lam Mujtahid gives a fatwa on some matter, his follower cannot act in that matter on the fatwa of another Mujtahid. But if he does not give a fatwa , and expresses a precaution ( ihtiyat) that a man should act in such and such a manner, for example if he says that as a precautionary measure, in the first and second Rak'at of the namaz ( salat) he should read a complete Surah after the Surah of "Hamd" the follower may either act on this precaution, which is called obligatory precaution (ihtiyat wajib) , or he may act on the fatwa of another Mujtahid who it is permissible to follow. Hence, if he ( the second Mujtahid ) rules that only " Surah Hamd" is enough , he ( the person offering prayers ) may drop the second Surah. The position will be the same if the A'alam Mujtahid expresses terms like Ta'mmul or Ishkal

Anew begining of Heart &Soul 7

Anew beginning of Heart & Soul 7

HAJJ is an extremely great opportunity for man to separate and take a distance from the worldly affairs and materialistic values of this world and attachments and classifications and categorization and all of those things which take him away fromthe real meaning and brings him closer to materialism and selfishness and get closer to God. This is an opportunity; it's not something that everybody does. It's not something that everybody has the blessing to do for themselves or utilize it property. But we should try. This is the real principle of the matter at hand, ' And mention the name of Allah on appointed days' We should always recall and bear in mind the name and reminiscence of almighty.Right from the start of our journey from our homelands until the time we reach the House of God, until the beginning of rituals, during those sensitive days and until the end of them, one thing should always be in the minds of HAJJ or the pilgrim of the house of God and that should be to obtain the consent of God, repent from the sins he has commited; he should turn away from everythingwhich takes him farther away from God and turn towards God. If we turn towards God , he will open the path for us. ' And it's a short journey for anyone who migrates towards your court' Taking one step towards God, enlightens the heart of man, gives him success, removes the dust from his judgment and makes the next step and the rest of the journey more comfortable for him. This is the same fundamental topic on the individual aspect of this issue. Nothing could ever take its place

Salat(Prayer) 9

Salat(Prayer) 9

From the time of reciting 'Suratul-Hamd until now, i . e . at the point of lifting  the head off the ground, is called "one rak'ah of Salat", i . e . one 'ruku", Each of the daily salawat consists of either two, three or four raka'at (rak'ahs) Salatus-subh(morning) is a two-rak'ah salat. Salatul- Maghrib(evening) is of three rak'at. Salatuz-Zuhr, (at noon) , salatul' Asr (after noon ) and salatul-'Isha' (night) are of four raka'at , but while travelling these become two - rak'ah salat each. For those who know little about salat, in order to make it easy for them to learn, we explain here only the wajib( obligatory) portion of each of the daily salawat in detail ( leaving now the desirable acts)

Naj al-balaghah 9

Nahj al-balaghah 9

Ward off from yourself the onslaught of worries by firmness of endurance and purity of belief. He who gives up moderation commit excess. A companion is like a relation. A friend is he whose absence also proves the friendship. Passion is a partner of distress. Often the near ones are remoter than the distant ones, and often the distant ones are nearer than the near ones. A stranger is he who has no friend. He who transgresses right narrows his own passage. He who stays in his position remains constant upon it. The most trustworthy intermediary is that which you adopt between yourself and Allah the Glorified. He who does not care for your interests is your enemy. When greed leads to ruin deprivation is an achievment. Not every defect can be reviewed, and not every opportunity recurs

Commentary(Nimunih), Vol2, Page: 41

THE COMMENTARY

ERSE NO. 3

Through this verse( NO. 3 )eleven things have been declared

unlawful: - - 1 - - Carrion or dead meat. 2 - - Blood. 3 - - The flesh of swine. 4 - - that

on which a name other than God is invoked.

5 - - If an animal dies by strangling - - Pagan Arabs did sometimes press the neck of an animal between two pieces of wood, and by compressing their throat choked them to death.

6 - - Animals that are killed by violent blows or die of a disease. It

is narrated in the commentary of GHARTABI that the Pagan Arabs boated animals to death for the pleasure of their idols.

7 - - Animals that may die by a headlong fall from a height.

8 - - Animals that are pierced with the horns or tusks of bulls and boars and etc; and are in anyhow gored to death.

9 - - The mangled prey of the wild beasts, their flesh being cut or torn roughly; with the exception that you reach the prey in time, and when it is alive, and you clean it by ritual slaughter.

10 - - This was also an idolatrous rite, that the pagan Arabs used to install pieces of shapeless stones around the sacred shrine( KAABEH ).

They offered sacrifices to the stones. They then marked the stone with

the blood of the sacrificed animal, in order to be accepted by the stone! 11 - - The Pagan Arab had a sort of gambling, which was casting lots by means of arrows on the principle of lottery. Their arrows were

marked, and in some cases the carcase of a slaughtered animal,( sheep, cow, camel, etc. )was divided into equal parts- then the marked arrows

were drawn out of a bag as lots and dices are- some of them were blank, and those who drew them would get nothing of the meat.

Whatever one could get of a big or small share or nothing at all depended on pure luck, unless there was frauds and tricks.

KARBALA & ASHURA 1

KARBALA & ASHURA 1

Muharram is the first month of the Islamic calender, during which Muslims commemrate the martyrdom of Imam Husayn, grandson of theProphet Muhammad. Husayn was born on the 3rd of Sha'ban, in the fourth year of Hijrah(625 CE). His grandfather, Muhammad, named him Husayn, which means' one of beautiful character. ' The Holy Qur'an refers to the Prophet Muhammad, his  daughter Fatimah, her husband 'Ali, and their two sons Hasan and Husayn, in the Verse, 'Indeed, Allah wants to take away pollution from you, O, people of the House, and purify you [by a special kind of] purification. ' (The holy Qur'an Sura of Ahzab 33 : 33) . The Prophet indicated many times that the people of his House were the most qualified for leadership. Referring to Hasan and Husayn , he said, 'These two are my sons. they are two Imams (Leaders)
