Standing Upright (Thinking Solely of Allah)

From this moment, until the end of the salat, ever facing the Ka’bah (Fig. 2), he keeps on addressing Allah lovingly and praisingly, refraining from speaking or replying to anyone around him. Next in adoration and praise of Allah, we first read Suratul-Hamd, paying careful attention to its valuable meaning.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم                                                                                              Bismil-Llahi-r-Rahmani-r-Rahim.(In the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful                                                                                                 

الحمد لله رب العالمین .

Al-hamdu Li-Llahi Rabbi-L-alamin. (All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

A Muslim begins every work and every speech with the Name of Allah. In the Islamic society, everything is begun with the Name of Allah Almighty.
